Mothering Sunday
Establish over a day in 1924, the story follows Jane Fairchild, a maid in the Niven family, that has the time off to celebrate Mothering Sunday while Mr. and Mrs. Niven attend a lunch to commemorate the involvement of their neighbour's only remaining child, Paul, to Emma Hobday. Jane celebrates at her freedom on an unseasonably warm, lovely springtime day. But, she has no mother to head to.
