Ain't in It for My Health: A Film About Levon Helm

This poignant, personal portrayal of music great Levon Helm begins with the image of a tour bus warming its engine in the silence of an empty lot. Helm, a founding member of The Band, is found at home in Woodstock, working on his first studio album in 25 years, in Jacob Hatley's incredibly intimate documentary. He's conquered drugs, poverty, The Band's tragic separation, and a bout with throat cancer-but he wasn't in it for his health, as the wistful title implies.
