Motives 2

Vivica A. Fox and Shemar Moore reprise their roles in this thrilling sequel to Motives, which takes place three years after the events of the first film. Emery Simms, an innocent convict, is serving time for a crime he did not commit; while most convicts' claims of innocence are shaky at best, Emery has every reason to protest his wrongful imprisonment. Meanwhile, Emery's ex-wife (Fox) has married his best friend, and the two are attempting to live a normal life together. When Emery is killed in prison and his brother Donovan (Brian J. White) discovers the truth about what killed his ill-fated sibling, his quest to cut through the complex web of lies and deceit that previously ensnared Emery threatens to have deadly consequences.
