The Baader Meinhof Complex
From 1967 through 1977, the Baader Meinhof Komplex illustrates the political upheaval that characterized Germany, culminating in the deadly "Deutschen Herbst." According to Stefan Aust's standard work on Die Rote Armee Fraktion, the film approaches the events in a historically accurate way (RAF). Andrew Baader, Ulrike Meinhof, and Gudrun Eßlin are the leaders of the self-styled anti-faschist resistance to governmental aggression, and the tale is centered on them.
