The Second Is a Christian

The film tells the story of Kyoko (Etsuko Shihomi), a beautiful Christian nun who falls in love with two very different men: one is Haruhiko (Koichi Iwaki), a happy-go-lucky yakuza gangster who is next in line to take over the ragtag "Tenryu Gumi" gang, and the other is Kumashiro, a bumbling police detective (Akira Emoto). The Tenryu Gumi is a group of misfits and other troublemakers who, thanks to their Christian beliefs, are reasonably calm. The more traditional "Kuroiwa Gumi," a considerably more vicious and violent group commanded by godfather Kuroiwa, are their greatest adversaries (Hideo Murota).
