Buck Rogers in the 25th Century
Buck Rogers in the 25th Century is a science fiction adventure television series that originated in the United States and was produced by Universal Studios. The series aired for a total of two seasons between the years 1979 and1981, and the pilot episode of the series was adapted into a feature-length picture and presented in theaters a few months before the series began airing. Glen A. Larson and Leslie Stevens are responsible for the creation of both the film and the series, which are both based on the character Buck Rogers, who was first introduced to the public in 1928 by Philip Francis Nowlan and who has appeared in comic strips, novellas, a serial film, as well as on radio and television.
