Ice Pilots NWT
Ice Pilots NWT is a reality television show broadcast on Background Canada that portrays Buffalo Airways, an airline based in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. Buffalo chiefly flies WWII-era propeller airplanes. It premiered on November 18, 2009. With filming completed on August 2, 2010 the series had been renewed for a second season. January 12, 2011, the season premiere has been aired on History Television. Season 3 started broadcasting on October 1-2, 2011 and has been greenlit. May 2011 in the UK, series 2 has been shown on Quest commencing. The episodes season 4 have been shown to the Discovery Channel in the United Kingdom. Season 1 of Ice Pilots started broadcasting on the National Geographic Channel in the US on April 22, 2011. Both Season 1 and 2 have dipped on the station 7 Mate in Australia on National Geographic Channel and National Geographic Channel HD and currently air.
On February 2, 2012 The Weather Channel announced that it added its lineup and Ice Pilots. On March 5, 2012 the series started airing on The Weather Channel, you start with 2 and 2 seasons 1.
The series no longer airs regularly, although it will broadcast episodes.
